Let’s start the week with some Monochrome shots taken in the Portuguese coastal town of Faro at the end of December 2018. The south of Portugal, also called the Algarve region, is known for its many small charming fishing villages, beautiful beaches and rugged rocks alongside the coast. Before I traveled to the Algarve, I had already heard so many good things and that was immediately confirmed upon arrival in Faro. When the train approached Faro, I had a beautiful view of the low tide that was taking place there. During the last day of my vacation (and the year), I took the time to walk from the railways station along the Estrada do Passeio Ribeirinho to Parque Ribeirinho de Faro with its nature observation posts and magnificent (and a bit desolate) views of the low tide.
