Valencia is a city that has actually been on my unofficial bucket list for some time, and due to the cancellation of my Bosnia road trip due the heavy rainfall of the last 7-8 weeks, it was a nice unexpected opportunity to visit this Spanish city , mainly known for its Paella Valenciana and the City of Arts and Sciences / Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias designed by Calatrava and Candela.
At first I thought I would only stay in Valencia for 4 days, but Valencia left me such a good impression that after 4 days I thought … let’s stay another day. Indeed, traveling is freedom. My accommodation was located in the lively student district Benimaclet, and during my first walk through this neighborhood, I took the time to photograph some doors. Below the result :).

This is my entry to Norm’s Thursday Doors Challenge
Wow, on my bucket list too. Except I’m at the age where I need to get working on it 😂😂
Beautiful mix of shutters, graffiti doors, old doors and fancy doors. Great post.
Very nice doors. I now realize I’m not the only one to have an interest in doors…
Cheers.
Thanks a lot:).
I like those light bulb fish!
Thanks:p
Ooo, such magnificent doors! Especially three. 🙂 You can guess which ones, I’m sure. 😉 All three classic beauties.
Those are really interesting doors. Have you documented your trip to Valencia beyond doors?
I have so many pictures… street art, monochrome… working on it:). Hopefully I can publish soon more:). Stay Tuned:)))). Thanks for passing by and leave a nicely written comment. Cheers Stef
