A Photo a Week Challenge: Neglected Street Art

Nowadays, many street art festivals are organized and the gloomy gray walls turn into colorful works of art. Places that are hardly or never visited by tourists are now being converted into  free open-air galleries. Fortunately, street art is no longer regarded as purely vandalism by most people, but is ultimately valued as an art form. But the sad thing is that street art, muralism, is subject to changing weather conditions.

Since the beginning of my blog, I’ve shared a lot of street art with you that I’ve come across during my travels through Europe and South America (and still have a lot to share :p ). Well, in today’s blogpost, I show you some neglected murals or wall paintings in decay. This blogpost is my entry to Nancy Merrill her A Photo A Week Challenge with the theme Neglected.
