Sibiu is medieval town in southern Transylvania (Romania), on 280km from the capital Bucharest. Since the medieval times, Sibiu (or in German: Hermannstadt) is built by the Saxons and has always been the centre of the Romania’s largest German community. Sibiu is such a kind of a real hidden gem: The Eyes of Sibiu (rooftop windows in the shape of an eye), old historical idyllic centre (upper and lower part), the unofficial Street Art capital of Romania, stone wall fortifications, amazing architecture, pastel colored houses, several squares, the cobblestoned streets, The Bridge of Lies and the many churches makes the city as a must see when you are road tripping through Romania. Not to mention the many possible day trips you make: castles in the surroundings and the hiking possibilities (Sibiu is situated at the doorstep of the Carpathian Mountains) and visiting other cities like Brasov, Sighisoara or Cluj-Napoca (to name a few…).

Below you can find my doors photographed in Sibiu. My favo? Yup, definitely the last one:). And yours:)?
