First of all, my apologies for not wishing you, my loyal followers, a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! So, my belated wishes to everyone:).

I have already noticed that many bloggers are devoted to their computer, notebook or other devices, even during their well-deserved vacation. I try to do the opposite more and more and take distance myself from my blogging routine (maybe against the so called blogging etiquette ?). Quickly uploading a photo to my instagram account (click here) has become the maximum during my travels. More time to enjoy new places for the fullest.

Currently I am in Pardubice (Czech Republic), the city where I participated 19 years ago in an exchange project for bakery schools. After all these years I try to return at least once a year to say a quick hello to my friends there, and attend an ice hockey match from our local pride HC Dynamo Pardubice. This year I combined my Pardubice trip with a two-day visit to the city of Olomouc, the street art capital of the Czech Republic :). And I do love Olomouc, a real hidden gem in Moravia.

I am not a type of target and goals, but if there is one thing that I want to target for sure is improving my photographyskills and shoot more with my manuel lens Samyang 85mm F/1.4 on my Sony Alpha 58 body. A try and fail story:). Below you can find a few black and white pictures photographed with my Samyang lens in the city of Olomouc. Happy New Year to all of you:).

  1. How interesting – the bakery schools exchange in Pardubice and Olomouc after 19 years! No doubt you have tried their legendary beer cheese!

  2. Merry Christmas! Happy New Year, dear Steve! Your wonderful shots continue the celebrations, besides the Lunar New Year is tomorrow. So, you are pretty much in time. I wish you a fabolous 2020, a new decade full of discoveries & positive turns in your photo career.

    1. Thank you so much my friend:).My blogging activities are on low profile for the moment as you noticed probably, but better late than never… also for you a joyful 2020 and many new experiences, projects and trips:). Gr Stef

      1. Thanks, dear Stef! Chin-chin! Oh! It happens! Inspiration is a very unpredictable thing, so blogging might slow down from time to time. 🙂 Cheers! Maria
