I was really surprised when I saw a beautiful mural a few blocks away from my place. It was the Brazilian artist Mateus Bailon, who made his appearance during The Crystal Ship Street Art Festival in Oostende (Belgium). Bailon assisted Paola Delfin for the wall she was painting for the festival and, unexpectedly, he had the opportunity to paint a wall as well.
Mateus Bailon was born in Santa Catarina, surrounded by the Atlantic Forest. Inspired and fueled by this amazing biodiversity, he brings the power of nature to our urban jungle and paints animals from his own mythological universe. An excellent finished piece.

Location: Verlaatstraat 5
